Guido Brackelsberg is founding partner of Setlog GmbH and Managing Director Sales & Business Development.
Over the past few years, Brackelsberg has accumulated extensive experience in the management of global supply chains and established a comprehensive network in the European FMCG market. He moderates the working group “Global Sourcing & Supply Chain Management” of the DTB (Dialog Textilbekleidung), a German association that includes almost all companies in the German-speaking clothing industry. Since 2014, he has been Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of the DTB, promoting the internationalization of the association.
In addition to his professional interests, Brackelsberg regularly lectures on global supply chain management at numerous conferences and leading universities in Europe.
Brackelsberg graduated from the City University Business School (CASS) in London and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking & International Finance. Prior to joining the global SCM market, he worked for Lehman Brothers in London in the 1990s and was responsible for selling convertible bonds and structured derivatives products to institutional and hedge funds in Germany, Luxembourg and Ireland. Before that time, he was a trainee and analyst at investment bank ING Barings in London. In December 1999 Brackelsberg founded Matchbid AG and was responsible for Sales & Business Development.
